Water Base, Low VOC, Fast Cure Product Description Low VOC water base bake enamel designed for high quality finishes with a quick cure time. Intended Use For high quality, fast bake finishes- non-yellowing Good acid, alkali and solvent resistance Excellent toughness, flexibility, abrasion and impact resistance Excellent cure time, 15 to 20 minutes at 350 deg F Use: General purpose from light to heavy duty industrial applications to heavy duty. Good outdoor durability and ultra violet light resistance. Good for dipping or spraying Excellent adhesion to bare metal Excellent for roller coating. Excellent for coating on glass. Application Procedure Metal Preparation: All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned, degreased, free of rust, oxides or other surface impurities. Recommended pretreatments: Aluminum – Chemical Conversion Coat Steel – Phosphate Coat or Acid Etch Primer Stainless Steel or Titanium – Abrasive Clean Non-Metal Parts – Has excellent adhesion to glass 1) Reduce with distilled water as required 2) Spray evenly with conventional spray- air pressure apx 45 to 55 psi, or dip coat. 3) Bake at 350 deg F for 15 to 20 minutes 4) Clean up with water Physical Properties VOC: <2.2 Lbs/Gal (262 g/l) Color: Fed-Std 595 (most colors, high gloss, semi gloss and flat, clear) Dil Dilution: Reduce with deionized water as required. Caution: do not over dilute Wt/Gal: 8.5 Lbs/ Gal Application.temp: Between 40 and 110 deg F Application humidity: Between 10% and 95% relative humidity Cure: Bake at 350 deg F for 15 to 20 minutes Tack Free Time: n/a Shelf Life: 6 months stored in sealed container at ambient temperature Storage: Store in closed container Do not allow to freeze.
